Overview
Any person doing business within the city limits of Creedmoor as a peddler (i.e., door-to-door sales or ice cream truck style vendor) must register by filing a Peddler's Registration form with the Planning Department and paying the applicable fee at City Hall.

Mobile Food Vendor

In addition, the steps outlined below must be followed to obtain a permit to conduct business as a transient/mobile vendor (i.e., food trucks).  Mobile Food Vendor permits are valid for one (1) year.  NOTE: Food trucks are not permitted to conduct business on any public rights-of-way or on any city owned property. More information can be found in the Creedmoor Development Ordinance section 111.04.

Submit the following documents to the Community Development Office:

1. Complete a Zoning Compliance Permit application and Peddler Registration form. Permit fee of $100 to be paid upon permit approval. 
2. Obtain appropriate property owner's written permission(s)
3. Proof of insurance
4. Approval from Granville County Health Department 

Contact the Creedmoor Police Department at (919) 528-1515 to inform them of the event's schedule and proposed location. An additional permit or fire inspection may be required if you are erecting a tent of more than 400 square feet or a canopy (without walls) of more than 700 square feet.
