Harris Park, in the Pecan Hill community, is located at 415 Watson Street.

Harris Park is named after the late Reverend Iley Harris, the founder and pastor of Harris Missionary Baptist Church.

Harris Park is open to the public from sunrise to sunset and features a large picnic shelter (20x24) with a picnic table and a playground with swings and benches.  Picnic shelter reservations are available daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and require a 2-hour minimum rental.  Picnic shelters can be reserved by completing a Harris Park Shelter Rental Agreement Form located in the left navigation bar.  

Parking is conveniently located at the front of the park and is ADA compliant with several spaces designated for handicapped parking.

Harris Park Shelter Reservation Fees

*Senior citizens 60 years of age and older, active duty military, and veterans. Proof of eligibility required at time of reservation (driver’s license and/or military ID card).
